"Walk the Talk" Environmental mapping of an eco-product

Who gives a crap , 2016

Who Gives a Crap (WGAC) is an engaged business crowdfunded into existence in 2013, producing eco-toilet paper. They endeavour to use environmental friendly materials in their products, and donate 50% of their profits to help build toilets and improve sanitation in the developing world with WaterAid

Lifecycles undertook this environmental mapping project to help WGAC back up their claims and understand what the actual environmental impacts are of their activities. This was accomplished by undertaking a LCA study that included raw materials of their different product ranges (recycled paper, bagasse, bamboo), packaging, transport & logistics and company overheads.

We presented the LCA results in a strategy workshop with the WGAC team to understand their environmental touch points and identify next steps in improving and communicating the environment performance of this great product.
