Circular Central Victoria | Regional circular economy scan

With Aurecon, we mapped material flows and stocks across construction, consumer goods and agriculture for the City of Greater Bendigo and nine councils across the Loddon Mallee and Loddon Campaspe regions. We identified nine circular opportunities that could divert up to 688,000 tonnes of waste from landfill and cut up to 418,000 tonnes of CO₂e each year. The work moved the conversation beyond kerbside recycling to how materials are consumed and transformed.
